～PROFILE～
★芸術の都ニューヨークのベリーダンス界に華々しく現れ、現在も、そのベリーダンス界を牽引。
ニューヨークの著名なベリーダンサー達からは、
「Mariyahのパフォーマンスは、一度は必ず見るべき」と評されるほどの、圧倒的な実力と世界観を兼ね備えております。
「ヴィンテージ アメリカン キャバレー」を追求するベリーダンサーとして活躍しながら、その他、「エジプシャン オリエンタル」「ターキッシュ オリエンタル」「シアタースタイル」など幅広いスタイルを踊りこなします。
現在もパフォーマーとして第一線で活躍する一方、振付師、ショープロデューサーとしても幅広い実績を持ち、クライアントから厚い信頼を寄せられている、唯一無二のアーティストです。
★Mariyahは、2001年より、オリエンタルダンサーとして本格的に活動を始めました。
大学ではモダンダンスを専攻し、HawkinsテクニックやDunhamテクニックを学ぶ。
そしてベリーダンスに興味を持ち、アメリカンキャバレーのレジェンド ダンサー 故「セレナ・ウイルソン」から、ヴィンテージオリエンタルを直接学んだ貴重なベリーダンサーです。
その後、「ショーショナ」からエジプシャンスタイルを、「Elena Lentini」からオリエンタルダンスを学び、「ダリア・カレラ」からは、オリエンタルダンスとワールドフュージョンスタイルを学び、マリヤは独自の世界観を築いていきました。
★2007年、アメリカ テキサス州で開催されたコンペティション「Queen of Raks Sharki」で、みごと優勝に輝く。
審査員を務めたのは、エジプト・カイロのベリーダンス・ショービジネス界を代表する大物プロデューサー、Mo. Geddawi（Dr. Mo）と、トップダンサーとして知られるRanda Kamel。
Mariyahは、エジプシャン ベリーダンサーとしても高く評価され、確固たる地位を確立しました。
★Mariyahは、彼女のもつその身体能力を生かし、現在はベリーダンスの他にインド古典舞踊（オディシイ）のペリサン、コンテンポラリーダンス、そしてピラティス、ヨガ、気功など、多岐にわたる分野にて指導を行っております。
また、身体の動きに関しての造詣がとても深く、それをダンスの指導に生かしています。
心の声を聞きながら行う「ソマティック・プラクティス」のテクニックや、ヨガ、気功などの呼吸法を取り入れながら、
身体の内側への意識を高め、自分自身の動きをより深く感じて表現することへと導いていきます。
それぞれの独自の表現力と豊かな身体性を引き出していく、Mariyahならではの指導にも定評があります。
